True but we know from empirical evidence that the 3 main parties have failed to deliver.

One of the first things of their manifesto is to say ideology is irrelevant and then goes on to preach a bunch of right wing ideology. So yeah it's not a suprise.

The time is ripe for a new political party in Ireland to offer a credible alternative.

It must not be lead by a former or present politician otherwise they are going the PD route.

We don't want this crap below again.

What's that saying about ignoring history and repeating it?

Maybe, just maybe the model the main parties, (and by extension this new group) espouse doesn't work in the longer term.

But is it just an easy quip to say they are all teachers (which the government are not all) and therefore should not be in government. This is a democracy afterall. The electoral system is just as to blame for the politicans we get.

No, I'm saying this centre right shyte is not working, and we don't need a fourth party in that space.

Typical hurler on the ditch statement. The relentless knocking of others efforts while producing nothing oneself is one of the worst of Irish characteristics.
The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end; there it is.

The memory of Mary Harney will ensure any new Neo-liberal party will be stillborn.

Being useless, detached, cossetted, incompetent buffoons is what we need less of, that's been far more prevalent a reason we are where we are than any "centre right shyte"
