    Think I came across them before on another site, they're a bit tea partyish but at least it's someone trying to make a difference.

    I think Ireland does need a new party but perhaps not this one. Not PDs just almost the same name. More importantly there doesn't appear to be real momentum, no groundswell of support.

    From reading their manifesto they spend alot of time pleading they are a centrist liberal party that wants to remove government bureaucracy, help small medium businesses and bring about more transparency and accountability for politicians. Yawn!

    A more Americanised style of Pds. One of them started a thread promoting the new party on lefty world. org and got savaged, it wasn't a pretty sight, they didn't give the guy a chance.
