Google Streetview Coming Soon

Since earlier this year Google has begun roaming the streets of Dublin (and Athlone according to a friend down there!) to take photographs for Google Street View. For those of you who don't know what it is, go to maps.google.co.uk and try a city such as Belfast or London and you will be able to zoom in right to street level.

Google does the best it can to hide people's faces, but there have been some legal actions forcing them to take down pictures of certain people in fairly embarassing positions. However, there remains a load of hilarious daily happening still on display on Google Street View - here are some to give you a smile on a Friday afternoon.

There are a lot of fairly po-faced posters on P.ie. Does anyone intend to protest when Dublin, Cork and other cities come up ? My neighbour in Cork has a letter written, with just the blanks left to fill in!
