    Anoraks, The Tolka and Enda

Miriam Lord has a hilarious piece on canvassing with Enda and JP Phelan this morning.

Mass effort as FG's Enda and Paschal target churchgoers - The Irish Times - Mon, May 18, 2009

We have spotted an Ahern at The Precious Blood,” he announced.
[COLOR=#333333][FONT=Arial]Enda was agog. “Which Ahern? Whose blood?” And so to Our Lady Help of Christians, where said Ahern was now stationed. It was De Udder Brudder, Maurice. No sign of Bertie, which explains why Maurice remained stationary behind the man selling strawberries.

    Excellent as usual.

Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

Bertie is Maurice’s Unique Selling Point.
    Pretty funny.

As funny as the article is, it does seem that the Drumcondra mafia are trying to convince people that Bertie is running in the locals & in the by-election.

Maurice doesn't have an impressive CV to point to nor does he have any of Bertie's personality. However, that doesn't seem to be stopping the mafia from forcing him on the good people of Cabra-Glasnevin.

Is this the first negative coverage that Paschal has received?

Bobert there was a thread on this already (I think someone misspelled Donohue in the title of it) and you yourself refer to this as being about JP Phelan, did you even the piece?
