Great to hear that Eoin Ryan is getting very positive feedback on the strees in Dublin.

At the least he could be a stand in for Pat Shortt when the people sack their FF Dublin MEP

I got this from the excellent Cedar Lounge Revolution which always gives well thought out insights laced frequently with some sharp humour.

Ehrrrm yes Eoin ... when you break down people's doors with a hatchet and demand "vote for me , vote for me" they'll be very nice to you then.

    I hope he gets treatment

Another Shining example of how isolated and out of touch they are.

He should get a job minding a summer Hotel for the winter where he can't do any harm.

    Er wait a minute....

I seem to recall getting a very polite and welcome reception at doors in 2002 canvassing for FG and I seem to recall while our local TD and others were talking up FG being back in government the ordinary members who had been canvassing set up a sweepstakes to see how many seats FG would lose. The lowest guess was we'd lose ten seats - not a single person thought we would win any seats - yet the party powers that be were in denial up to the very last minute.

I rather think it's the same with FF. People have long since stopped being angry and have now resigned themselves to doing what they knew they should have done long ago ie stop voting for FF and the other people being polite are doign so out of err politeness cos they know they never voted for FF and feel pity for people still unable to face the relaity of what their vote for/membership of FF has done to our country.
