You need to see the first clip and then the second clip to really get the effect. Its like nobody moved one muscle in the interim number of minutes.
The fella to the left of Davin Power, in the front row, is clearly dead. Or just maybe a ventriolquist's dummy.
That's it! The guy behind him is holding the dummy up, because it's life-size. The actual ventriloquist is the young guy on the far right (didn't quite catch a name... Adolf somebody). Note that you can't see his hand at all - it's because it's up the dummy's back, in case he/it is called on to actually say something.
Oh that it should come to this - fisting for Brian!
The guy to DDP's right is Sean O'Riordan chairman of the Comhairle Dail Ceanntair in Cork South Central, a former local election candidate.

A close cousin who grew with him was killed in a car accident outside Naas there last week, and was only burried on Friday. I think he was taking it pretty badly.
