Fianna Failers

An angry guy walks into a bar, orders a drink and says to the barman:

    "All Fianna Failers are a*sholes."

A man sitting at the other end of the bar pipes up, "Hey. I resent that."

"Why? Are you a Fianna Failer?"

    "No. I'm an a*shole."*

*Only kidding. Voted for Fianna Fail in the last election.

Should be said I'm bad at telling jokes!

But I like the one about the man who goes to the ATM and puts in his card and the screen shows "insufficent funds"

And the man wonders is it him or the bank!!!

Yeah well without a disclaimer there was the danger of getting neg repped to smithereens (and one candidate did feature somewhere in the ballot). Also considered

But that's affirming the consequent! Logical fallacies kill the joke...

    Not necessarily.

In any case we fall for logical fallacies all the time. Without them there would effectively be no advertising industry.
