Top Totty banned from House of Commons

just the brew, after a labor mp (Kate Green equalities spokeswomen) complained because it demeans women.

Despite never having even seen the pump in question – and the bar not receiving a single complaint – Miss Green yesterday stood up in the Commons chamber to demand it be removed from sale

All she will succeed in doing is in multiplying the sales of 'Top Totty' with all the free publicity she has given it.

I suppose this is going to be a 'political correctness, gone mad' thread.

Don't know the beer but, these are the ones I like:

Theakston bitter, the dog (Newcastle brown) Bodingtons pale ale and my fav, Abbotts ale (Green Castle).

"She took up parliamentary time to say: 'I was disturbed last night to learn that the guest beer in the Strangers' Bar is called Top Totty, and that there is a picture of a nearly naked woman on the tap."

So a woman in a bikini is "nearly naked"? Has this woman thought of moving to Saudi Arabia?

Well she can't really, because pictures stuck on beer taps can't book flights yet. Some day though... we'll teach them how.
