There has to be something wrong with someone who can't even be arsed to get dressed.

Getting caught short yeah I can understand having to pop into a shop in their pj's but to be that lazy or unmotivated as to not bother getting dressed to collect your benefits is a step too far.

I read in the Guardian or some other similar bien pensant journal that pyjama-wearers are, like, sticking it to the man, yeah? And are consciously rebelling against your stuffy bourgeois rules, man.

Truly, they are the modern descendants of the soixante-huitards

Only fair. Why should the watching of daytime TV be interrupted for the inconvenience of having to go out to collect your dole? The whole issue of pyjamas could be resolved if the dole money was delivered instead.

Wearing your pjs outside is just as much a fashion statement and badge of identity as wearing a pringle jumper in the golf club or a pair of rock and republic jeans if you are a public health nurse.

I belong to a certain group and I am proud to let everyone know.

Tell me, do they have underwear on underneath?

If I find out that they don't, I'm going to be mightily distracted on my perambulations throughout the 'livelier' areas of Dublin
