    The same was done in North Kerry. Smart f**ckers.

    I saw a number of ballots with 2,3,4,5 etc and written in top would be "I abstain my No. 1". Idiots

    we had one that had a little description written beside all the candidates

    as in

    Ambrose - Blonde Bombshell

    Browne - Terrorist

    Manseragh - Lord of the Manor

    Mc Grath - Whinger

    Prendergast - Turncoat

    etc

    no they wouldnt coz you cant write across the ballot sheet...although it could be contested if things were close

    In 2004 a SF member arguing with the returning officer that the words "suck my cock" written aside Mary Lou Mc Donald name was a clear indication of a preference.

    The returning officer, disagreed.
