    Tales from the Canvas

A neighbour received a telephone call from a person who identified themselves as being from Red C and that they were conducting a constituency poll. The Neighbour indicated who she would be voting for. Twenty minutes later the local candidate called to the door and called her all the names under the sun for not voting for him.

The candidate’s wife runs a local crèche and my neighbour was told to take her kids out straight away and not to bring them back.

Apparently his wife was ringing around everyone in the locality to see how they were voting.

    True or false?

Any other True or False stories welcome

If that is true, then that woman has a wonderful case under the Equality Act.

met two women today who told me they didnt like enda kenny. when i asked them why, they lost the power of speech. they never thought i'd ask them such an obvious question!
one of them finally came up with the answer "because i'm a fianna fail'er".
Priceless. I laughed into their faces and then i said "oh, now i understand, Enda Kenny is not corrupt enough for ye". They were savage!! They didnt expect me to be so lippy.
    Canvassing is great sometimes!!!
