To cyp, do you think your being 'cool' making jokes about child rape?
Cyp posts some really perverted stuff occasionally, have a look back at his threads. He gives internet nerds a bad name.

Trolling mods or modding trolls - you decide

    Poor taste by OP
Politicians do not stand for anything beyond whatever they think will get them elected.

You know where I stand, no public funding of arts & media, no need for blasphemy. Public funding of same must result in legislation. Artists, journos etc can say what they want but people of faith should not have to pay for their beliefs to be mocked.

It is a story from The Onion - which is pretty much the World's top satirical organ

It doesn't surprise me that the more backward social conservatives here don't like the satire, perhaps it cuts too close to the truth for them

So to clarify, you and cyp think it's ok to crak jokes about child rape?

    totally disagree.
Govt does not legislate for Arts but for their presentation, development etcetera.
Now we are not Maoists, so why should public-funding (in all seriousness) reflect
the concerns of a limited bunch of Twats (one of whom thought it a really good idea
to amend defamation legislation for blasphemy)

I consider myself a social conservative, with a sense of humor, many liberals lack that. It is also true to say that there is not a lot of satire that pokes fun at social liberals. The problem is people who take themselves too seriously, waaaaayyyy too many of those on this site of all hues.

I'm far from a social conservative, infact isn't that more a suitable moniker for yourself, i do however think satirising the rape of children is tasteless, but copming from you it's not surprising at all, given the nature of your posts, which seem to always have a sexual theme.
