good, cos there's rape and theres statutory rape and the conviction levels for both are pretty shyte.

So kinda recognising that children have the right to their childhood is important, no?

(unless one lives in Nicaragua where they force 11/12 year olds to carry through
their pregnancies , but thats a whole other thread)

I would not put it past them to find some way to pin it on the kids.

To cyp, do you think your being 'cool' making jokes about child rape?
Don't be a twit, the point of satire is to reveal unpleasant truths using humour. I'm guessing you haven't come across the concept before.

Satire - are you serious? Humour - it is not in the least funny.

a lot (actually a surprising amount of users) on this site reject not alone satire
but literature, I've seen people taking the p'iss out of Burroughs and Ginsburg,
I am only glad that their delusions of leadership aren't backed up by anything
    concrete.

so is confirmation age the catholic age of consent ?

if that were true in a theocracy, I suppose that a lot less girls would be going
    to college!
