We all love animals. Why do we call some 'pets' and others 'dinner'?

Brian L: I will let Brian C field that.

Brian C: Ah ah uh, going forward, ah ah uh. Ah, I don't know Lenny. I forgot what you told me to say.

Brian L: My partner has a bit of stage fright. Our proposal is that we are willing to sell 50% of the business for EUR 30,000,000,000.

We are giving the banks EUR 54,000,000,000 and you will be entitled to 50% of the assets we are buying at a discount. In 10 years, when the assets are sold, we see a healthy profit being made. The added EUR 3,000,000,000 that we are looking for will be used for the set up costs. Loan valuations, legal advice, that sort of stuff.
We have turned the corner.I commend this Budget to the House. Brian Lenihan, 9 December 2009
