If Jim believes everything he says, then fair fùcks to him for having the balls to stand up and say it. That's more than most people do about things over which we have no doubt.
That said, I wonder, if so many famous musicians have died in plane crashes, bus crashes, and from drug abuse and overdose, then why would Jim be let off to do his thing? I mean if I were the man behind the curtain I'd have arranged a brake failure for Jim along time ago. "Rock star dies of/from X", end of, nobody bats an eyelid. might even be good for record sales.

He doesn't hold any political power and he's not revealing any new information, just regurgitating what a lot of others who have troubled to look into a lot of this already see.

Anyhow character assassination/ ridicule appears to be the preferred M.O. of rendering public oppponents ineffective to actual assassination normally, not least as it's less trouble for them.

Here I would agree, and disagree.
Character assination, yes, but who's? Sure the likes of David Icke and Alex Jones are ridiculed but then why wouldn't they be? One is a self help charlotton and the other is a loud mouth panic merchant.
But try and address any subject, no matter how well documented elsewhere, that has been touched on by either and will (and no doubt have) find that it is you who is ridiculed and to a certain extent, they have assassinated your character.
The only sure way to win a public arguement, after all, is to control both sides of it.

Exactly,he has absolutely nothing to gain from coming out and saying the things he does,he's a wealthy enough man as it is,he comes out and says these things because he believes them to be true and as a decent human being he thinks knowing what he knows, others should know it too, regardless of being ridiculed and abuse as a result.

This is a question that appears quite a lot on many forums and simply put, to knock off the likes of Alex Jones,David Icke,Jim Corr etc.would make them martyrs to the cause and wake a hell of a lot more people up in the process. They don't care that what they are doing is being exposed, most people as this thread as quite clearly proved have already made their mind up without any research whatsoever, that its all crazy and full of nutters and its this kinda of conditioning that allows a few to control the many.Look how conditioned people are today...war is peace and being murdered is freedom(Iraq and Afghanistan) or in the case of this thread Bobert doesn't know what David Icke or Jim Corr believe,he just jumped on the band wagon, following the crowd and pointing at the crazies but not really fully understanding why, same goes for the OP.

You also have to remember the AJ's,DI's and JC's are a Broadcaster,ex footballer/broadcaster and musician respectively, who through their own research came to these conclusions but then we look at Bill Cooper who had high security clearance while a respected member of the US military assassinated shortly after predicting the events of 9/11 on his radio show.See it becomes a little bit more convincing when you have somebody that held such a high military security clearance like Bill Cooper did than 2 broadcasters and a musician.

One last very important point,is that there is one thing all of the above mentioned have and always say and that is "Don't take my word for it,go research the information for yourself "

Bill Cooper lived (and I suppose died) by the mantra that you should always research and reference your facts, not lie or exaggerate and always be the first to correct a mistake or you will have no credibility. He used to believe in UFOs (as in alien ones) in his younger days but in the end he believed the whoe UFO thing to be a massive diversion and an information cul-de-sac. he effectively ridiculised himself a second time by saying that he had been wrong, fooled as it were. But he said it, and he used the words "in my opinion "and "I believe" where required, unlike many others. He doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Icke and Jones. He even accused Jones of being an agent of disinformation and critised him and Maxwell (who he once interviewed) for their lack of integrity and tendancy to make stuff up.

But anybody who even questions the official account in public of events like 9/11 is sure to get tarred with same nonsense and just for the act itself

There absolutely no doubt that fake/controlled opposition is huge part of the information war that's taking place.

That said, to see the fact that somebody is still breathing as confirmation of their being under the wing of the system is pushing it. Their M.O. as stated tends to be more subtle than that usually favouring ridicule etc.

Anyhow cult of personality mostly gets in the way. After all the message is always bigger than the messenger - as any true truther would concur i'm sure.

I wonder is Jim disappointed that there wasn't a terrorist attack at the Winter Olympics opening ceremony as he predicted? He probably figures that he scared them off.
