    Half-full or half-empty?

Labour: the glass is half empty

    PD: the glass is half-full

FF: the glass will be full after we win the election

FG: whether the glass is half-full or half-empty FF is to blame

Sinn Fein: partition is the root cause of the two half-empty glasses

Greens: we should only use one quarter of a glass to meet our needs

The electorate: I ordered a pint

RSF refuses to recognise either glass or their illegitimate contents. The only authorised vessel is the sacred jamjar of the Republic, preserved since the second Dail.

surely the PD glass is so devoid of liquid as to question the necessity for a 2nd glass on the table beside the FF one at all?
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

Socialists: We believe in a glassless society.
The political establishment lacks both vision and courage.
