    I think just putting the bare facts out there is a sufficient first step. This image that McCreevy tried to portray, that of a bit of an innocent ould eejit doing his best for the little people in the big bad financial world, is deconstructed when you see who he knocked around with. Wasn't there a story there of his late inclusion of private nursing home construction costs being given tax relief in the budget when he was MOF, against departmental advice ? Just happened some buddy in Kildare was doing that at that time.
