Trinity College Dublin Constituency - Seanad Election 2007

Anyone got any ideas which candidates are running in this constituency next year?

Are any of the three sitting Senators retiring and has anyone heard who else might be running?

I don't know about next year, but I commend your foresight in looking ahead to 22007. The 219th century may seem like a long way away, but change comes slowly in the TCD constituency.

He had this to say on Q&A a while back:

"In anything I have to say this evening I expect no personal political advantage, because if this government lasts, as I expect it to do, its full term, I will not be putting myself forward as a candidate at the next election."

You can see it here (click on "Question One").

That seems pretty clear, thanks conor. A real pity I'll be backing Bacik in that case

Don't give up hope. The link's over three years old, and that newsletter was pretty glossy for someone who's planning on stepping down.
