    Government lose vote in Seanad

I understand the Government lost a vote in the Seanad today.
Does anyone have definite confirmation of this and if so, how it was allowed to happen?

They lost the vote on the blasphemy amendment. So one of the government senators called for a walk-through vote (essentially a re-vote), someone was hurriedly dispatched to the Dáil Bar to retrieve an errant FFer, the vote was retaken and this time it was evens and the Chair used his casting vote to spare the government's blushes.

Mary Harney once said the senate should be abolished, however, when she got power
she found it a place to fit her lackeys,. Her credibility was gone that far back

Alas and well may Erin weep...In typical Irish style the vote on blasphemy amendment having been lost was voted on again so that it could be passed. What a farce

Could this be a mini FF revolt against Cowen?
Lose a vote every now and then to make him look incompetent and that he has no control over the party.
