    FORMER TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern lists a Washington-based lecture agency and his role as compere of a one-off RTÉ sports programme, The Road to Croker, as sources of occupational income in the latest Dáil Éireann “register of members’ interests”, published on the Leinster House website last night.

    I don't know, but I seem to recall people suggesting he lost out on them, I could be wrong. But Noonan seems to have someone looking down kindly on him - talk about lucky timing. More luck than Bridget McCole had, anyway. I suppose, in fairness, at least he added the date of sale in himself, which he didn't have to do...
