Kenny continues to suggest government minister involved in the Anglo "golden circle"

In the Dail again today Enda Kenny has asked the Taoiseach to confirm that no government minister was involved in the Anglo Irish "golden circle". Yesterday in the Dail, Enda Kenny asked the same question

Does the Taoiseach know the names of the ten persons involved? Can he confirm that no member of the Government was involved in any way by encouragement, support or any other activity to facilitate this situation whereby ten persons were each given €30 million from Anglo Irish Bank?

These sequence of repeated questions on the same issue was discussed on the RTE news this lunchtime, and the political editor said that it was causing consternation amoung FF backbenchers.

Apparently, there is a fear that Enda Kenny is in possession of some damning information.

Hmmm...it doesn't necessarily have to be a FF minister that might have links to those with access to sums of money in the region required for this loan.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

It would certainly seem like they have some form of damning information, i would hope that they will share it with the rest of us sooner rather than later

He should use Dail privilege at let spill.
“We’re in this mess, not because Fianna Fáil policies have failed, but because they have succeeded.”
    Enda Kenny.

It's interesting that Cowen didn't directly answer the questions he was asked this morning. He blustered a lot, and then claimed his personal integrity was under attack.

If he actually knew anything he'd have said it already.

If a journalist could look at the largest donors to Fianna Fail and the PD's,and then look at the ones that have a business relationship with Anglo Irish, are any of them members of either above party. You would have ten names very quickly, that would match the Golden Circle.

I presume that the names are common knowledge amongst the top echelons in Irish Finance, we are after all a small close knit country. so I would not be surprised if Enda is aware of them.
