O'Dowd Calls for Lenihan to Resign

FG deputy O'Dowd has called the minister for finance to resign due to his lack of attention to detail when going through 'Due Diligence' in enough detail & failing to read the PWC report.

Separately Joan Burton asked the minister about WHY Anglo lodged 7 billion to ILP and ILP Lodged & 7 billion at the same time. . . the minister avoided the questeion and slipped out of the chamber.

Labour are now kicking up and all hell is breaking out !

Deputy shorthall is being kicked out but is refusing !

FF would love nothing more than to be ousted from government.

Fair play to the opposition for not letting them out off the bonfire.

Well if his boss didn't read the Lisbon treaty, why would anyone expect a busy man like Lenihan to read a report he commissioned on the banks after giving a guarantee for about 400,000,000,000 Euro of your and my money.

There is no point in kicking FF out of power, none of the rest of them seem capable either. The FG plan unveiled by Bruton is so limp it would have absolutely no impact and Labour couldn't be arsed putting forward an alternative plan.

Before the brown stuff hit the fan I would have loved to see FF out of office but they now need to stay there so the electorate can see how bad a government FF really leads. Hopefully FF will never get into power again and FG, Labour and the rest will learn how to implement decent policy.

At this stage though, its only hope and not expectation because they are all rubbish and that's putting it mildly.

I couldn't hear the audio, was that Labour walking out of the chamber in protest?
