    Open Caucus /Open Primaries

    No I'm not talking about the US, but would it make sense to have it here in Ireland? I mean particularly Open Primaries.
    Many people go on about how they dont like Kenny in FG. Well this would give them a chance to choose.
    Maybe its formalising the election of the executive as distint from the Dail but that can be no bad thing.

    What it boils down to More democracy. I know many politicos here arent mad on old Solon's invention and love the cozy mafia producing system we have at the moment but lets hear why you oppose it.(or God-forbid support it)

    are you talking about open primaries for Dail candidates or open elections for party leaders?
    It is very easy to be a Socialist when one is poor.
    That said, it is even easier to be a Socialist when one is rich.
