Labour have their first shot at govt for 14 years and are secure in the knowledge that they can be in for at least two terms if they can turn the economy around - why would they jump ship and cause an election? And even if they did, we'd end up with an FG-FF coalition - in the national interest, of course - with Lab, SF and ULA ranting from the sidelines. Why would anyone in Labour think that is a good idea?
