Presume you mean a bit of respect 'cos posters are portraying TD Healy-Rae's attack in a jocular fashion... Heavens to Betsy...
I personally do wish him a speedy recovery - preferably in the 42 bed Hospital his Engineering Daddy screwed out of a reluctant Biffo as the price of his (and no doubt further generations of TD/HR's) 'loyalty' - loyalty's not the real word, but close enough without swearing.
What goes around - comes around...
Given the current economic austerity, I expect MHR will be retired as a TD before that proposed hospital is available.

From what I know, he exhibits a genuine and decent concern for the underprivileged and disadvantaged and that is surely a legitimate function of a delegate to the Dail. Those voices particularly need to be heard at at time of (necessary) national frugality and particularly when the majority of representatives expected to make the case for the underprivielged (Labour) are part of the Government implementing the cutbacks. I don't think the underprivileged can expect Shane Ross and Peter Mathews to make their case.
Absolutely, the underprivileged need to be heard. That doesn't mean that MHR cares for them though. He only cares about their proximity to the parish pump.

Its not like FG/Lab are taking particular great happiness in implementing these cuts, they have no choice in the matter.

If he needed to be admitted, I suspect that he was quickly routed through ED before then being whisked over to enjoy the al la carte services of the new private hospital !

An aristocracy. The Irish version of coming over with William the Conqueror.
