It looks like the establishment don,t like having their boat rocked and are resorting to childish rule changes regarding dress codes to bully the new TDs.

I wonder how the Ceann Comhairle is going to look when he throws TDs out of the Dail Chamber, while wearing a frock.

I know Mick Wallace has spent a lot of his own money promoting soccer in Wexford. Why doesn't he give one of his bizzare shirts to some of the team players, thus saving the cost of jerseys? Why have a dress code for football while thinking a dress code for the Dail members is awful?
Do you just stick to primary safe colors yes.

When these guys went for their equivalant of a job interview they wore the same clothes they are wearing now. And the electorate gave them the job. So why should the government interfere with that?

These people interviewed for a image-conscious job with very recognisable images. The people who ran with a different image would like to undermine the former's ability to continue.

    Well said.

Presumably they would have noticed the defacto dress code in the Dail prior to their election?

They do when they do business meetings. Also even if they don't have atie they don't look slovenly like Boyd Bigot, Flanagan or Wallace.
