I see Lucinda Creighton went against quota for women at FG meeting. But it seems to me from Irish Times today that this had more to do with her ongoing row with Kenny than anything else. Just as well we dont have many more women like her who put their own prejudices before reason. Every time sdhe opens her mouth it is a disaster, including her now famous Frontline performance on RTE when she did not even dress properly.
You'd think Kenny committed Treason and brought in IMF. Cowen had all in stitches in Galway at 3.30a.m.but he was "not impaired" -DD Power. FF=Publican páirtí an IMF.

Which Frontline was that? I keep seeing references to it but missed the programme. If it's still on RTE Player I'd like to watch.

No chance of having a male voice on the panel, I suppose?

I guess these quotas only work one way...

It may be still on RTE/player.just about.I was 2-3 weeks ago. I advise you to take a lookm at it, and Lucinda thrashing about for her 90 secs, trying to read notes. And her supposed to be a barrister |?

IIRC the problem for women is in getting nominations - they do well once they are on the ballot paper. This suggests that quotas could work. I will do some quantitative analysis on this now.

Lucinda made some good comments on addressing the issues, rather than just doing lip-service. am unsurprised she's being shot down. Starting up soon, will let ye know the outcome.

Just watched it and to be honest I can't see what the fuss is about. It was her typical mediocre stuff but not exactly a car crash.
