Where on earth did she find sexism in that remark?????
"Elite - a small superior group; esp one that has a power out of proportion to its size." (Oxford English Dictionary)

The majority cannot therefore be the elite.

You plonker, Rodders! Flanagan is a male, she's a female, he criticised her, that makes it a sexist remark. Do try to keep way back there with Mary.

I dunno, there's something positively Dick Emery-esque about that Flanagan remark

A more fitting response to it would have been "Oh you are awful, but i like you"

Put the remark in context. FFers (and their FF lite lobby fodder) have been told that only FF can get us out of the crisis that the FF/PD engineered, whether by design or accident. The simple fact that they created the mess (and have a long record of creating mess that others need to clear up when they're out of office) is utterly immaterial and totally out of scope.

Coughlan is thick. It wasn't sexist. She's lucky she has a great set of cannons on her!

But isn't that, in the lexicon of the intellectually inferior Politically Correct, Ageism?

And still she won't be allowed the defense portfolio because she'll only end up shooting herself with them.
