    Trouble in Rasharkin

    just got a few texts from people in rasharkin who have told me theres fighting between residents and those taking part in the parade there.

    Thought that this had to happen - then they expect the nationalist to live with these people for the rest of the year. If the Orange men wish to insult people year in and year out they can only expect to be ostracised from decent society and resisted. Hope the locals do not get hurt when the RUC wade in to support their loyalists sidekicks

    Cheers for the updates NR. For some odd reason the evening news is not covering these events in any detail.

    RUC? I presume you mean The PSNI with all those Catholic members. Why would Catholic policemen support Loyalists in attacking Catholics?
