    Trouble in Ardoyne

here's the craic from the IR.net forum

I just got a call from another forum member that the RUC/PSNI have sealed The shop fronts from Brompton park to Estoril. Hundreds of Ninjas with riot gear and shields have surrounded the whole area and are abusing the local people. It looks like they are declaring their intentions. At the minute there are no PSF on the ground

There is also a heavy presence in Carrick Hill. NINJAS were in searching for whatever is throwable. Landrovers are patrolling videoing everyone on the 6 streets of Carrick Hill

My daughter has told me that Radio U105 is reporting disturbances in Craigavon, no other details at the moment

As I post this the ninjas are moving in with the dogs and there is pandemonium the call went dead. Before the line went dead he said here we go here we go.

Getting word from people in Ardoyne that the peelers have their food stocked up and all, and that the scene resembles martial law. It's gonna be a long night everyone.

A resident of mountainview says they are not allowed out on to their own streets, he said it's like house arrest.

Pity they could not do this in Larne the other night - but wait - cannot do that - they are loyalists after all and there is no need to upset them

Perhaps Nationalists should stay inside and rob the Loyalist media (giggle) of their story?

Yeah they had a reporter on "the telephone" ?
A notorious flashpoint and they have 1 reporter there with a phone yet seem to have reporters and camera crews at every march taking place.
Strange journalism to say the least.
