Sinn Fein likely to top EU poll

BBC NEWS | Northern Ireland | Sinn Fein 'likely to top EU poll'

Would will this do to unionism? one of the first times they have been trampled at their own game

We expected SF to top the poll. What a great boost it would be to nationalism if the SDLP can get one of the other seats. Looking at the turnout rates west of the bann compared to east of the bann. There certainly is a chance.

It'd be brilliant if the SDLP sneaked into 3rd spot!!

Well Dodds said it would be a disaster for unionism if SF did get to the top, and not counting the SDLP getting in 2nd or 3rd then I would love to see how that disaster would be played out

why was turn out so low amongst unionists.

It could serve as a warning though and we will probably see a higher turnout for the general election from members of the unionist community when it occurs

DUP have only themselves to blame by cozying up with SF and poor candidate selection. I'm still predicting as you were, but it's an excellent launch pad for TUV.
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

Ahh... Let the opposition do all the work, riding in on the back of the ghastly Shinners, I like your style you Irsh, we could do with more of their calibre in the Empire

I'd love to see the SDLP getting a seat too, just for the smugness factor like, when Unionists realise they are no longer top dog

It wood be some result if sdlp won a seat! IF Mrs Dodds had married who she had she wouldn't have been allowed to run for a parents association place by the DUP. She was so weak!
