Lead suspect for Murder last week is a British agent.

The BBC and other media sources have failed to point out that the main suspect in the murder case of Geoff Kerr is infact a British agent.

At 10pm last Monday night, Geoff Kerr, 60, opened the front door of his home in Templepatrick to two men posing as take-away delivery man.

One of them pulled out a gun and he was shot dead in front of his wife and eldest son.

Other suspects are loyalist terrorists, people who have been allowed to retain their weapons by the British state.

Leader of gang suspected of Geoff Kerr murder is a British agent | UK news | The Observer

"The murder of Mr Kerr raises very disturbing questions which I will put to the chief constable on Thursday at the Policing Board. State agents should not be given a free pass to commit crimes up to and including murder. If one of these gangsters is working for the state, then that is chilling. There has to be some independent investigation into the use of this particular agent in this gang."

The 60-year-old financier, who was killed at his house in Templepatrick, Co Antrim, was a member of a gun club and sources said he may have been killed in an attempt to steal his weapons. "Only those involved in gun clubs would really know who are members and who have guns," said one source.

What is it with McDonald and his headline grabbing nonsense. He's been proved wrong so many times (anyone remember the Lawlor fiasco) you'd think he would take a more measured approach.
"The thing that always annoyed me about traditional Irish historiography was the paradox of its Anglocentrism. People are now prepared, I think, to confront the possibility that many Irish problems are, in a sense, indigenous to the Irish situation." Roy Foster (1989).
