So how come we had a visit from Loyalist Groups to Cardinal Brady?
Ritchie pushed the boast out and it got results. Well done Margaret.

There was much Unionist bleating about procedure at the time; not a mention of the fact that the money was going to pimps, dealers and extortionists.
Ladbrookes and William Hill are said to be delighted with the decision.

Legally wrong perhaps, but morally right. I'd rather be the latter.

+1 on that. This money goes directly to purchasing UDA weapons and funding drug deals. Ritchie was right to cut it and remains right. That these people receive taxpayers' money while their hefty private arsenals remain intact is an abomination.

Regardless of the morality of the action this is incompetence from the SDLP and undermines her as a minister. Taxpayers money was wasted as a result.

Sinn Féin were only annoyed at her because she was showing them up.

Exactly. She's effortlessly the best performing minister in Stormont.
I say effortlessly, because it really doesn't take much effort at all to outperform the rest of that rogue's gallery.
