A former police officer is to stand trial accused of having images of child abuse, Belfast Magistrates court has heard.

Aaron Payne, 32, who quit the PSNI at the time of his arrest last year, faces 25 separate offences.

He is alleged to have made indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of a child between February and April 2008.

A defence solicitor confirmed that his client was not seeking bail.

Payne, whose address was formerly given as Barrack Street PSNI Station in Lisburn, County Antrim, was remanded in continuing custody.

In my view Crowley posted that story and his comments to try and link The PSNI in general with Child Pornography and other serious crimes rather than reporting on an individual officer (The comment 'Some outfit the PSNI' kind of gives it away) Crowley has a history of setting an (his) agenda on this site.

You've actually blundered into a valid point here Garvey.

The PSNI is the rebranded RUC which, as a paramilitary police force involved in collusion on an organisational level, perverted the course of justice from its inception.

Furthermore the PSNI is still involved in informer cultivation and facilitation, which protects and promotes drug dealers pimps and thieves across the 6C. This too is perversion of the course of justice.

So it is fair to say that the PSNI is riddled with perverts. It is a wholly perverted organisation; from the chief pervert to the individual perverts on patrol.
