    Man shot dead in Antrim

    Details are still sketchy but a man has been shot dead in Templepatrick

    I hope this is not a loyalist response to the recent dissident killings.

    Those scum the Orange Volunteers released a statement saying they would carry out an attack and that all Catholics or anybody who used the Irish language was a target

    There are unconfirmed reports that a number of gunmen were involved in the incident

    Except of course that sentence from RTE.

    Two helicopters just gone overhead in that direction, something which I pointed out was conspicious by its absence the night of the Antrim shooting. Tommy Burns, SDLP MLA has condemned it, shaping up like it isn't a domestic.

    Yeah, but "a number of gunmen"... bound to be republicans or loyalists of some description...
