    I remember what happened jesus therefore getting nailed to a tree due to a sense of compassion for some touting ginger basterd is not my personal philosophy, no .

    I did not mean that Gerry's statement would threaten support. I was talking generally, about Sinn Fein and how compatbile their policies are overall with the Catholicism most of their supporters espouse. Sinn Fein takes a lot of its support for granted. However, when the national question is not centre stage, some Catholics do not feel that Sinn Fein does a great job representing their point of view.
