Regarding the supposed "confusion" between britain and "uk" which was remarked on, I believe its deliberate on the part of posters. The "uk" is an idea, a political construct, not unlike the USSR, USA, or Gross Deutschland. It is only alive in the minds of people and entirely variable. The issue of this islands geography and proximity to the island of britain and its inhabitants is whats real and static. That posters of a certain political outlook will emphasize land over imagined political systems should not be unexpected.

You want a piece of Ireland? I don't think I imagine that.

Nonsense. Try reading your own link. It take a particularly stupid poster to post a link which proves he's talking nonsense.

Ireland has horrible fruit and veg selection. Most veg is grown outside Ireland, when infact it could (and should) be grown here.
Aside from potatoes and cabbage, the quality is fairly low unfortunately.
Ireland is free for another day.

You could try Marks and Spencers, they do a thick, clotted cream. I had some today with dessert.
