The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

    OK, I get you.

You don't see that death threats against a Polish player could antagonise their fans at all? You don't see that as provocative?

What about this (thanks to Sligobhoy67):

    1. Feeney's comments whipped up fevor.
    http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/su...-14209018.html

    2. "Death Threat" towards Boruc was distgusting and set the tone again - could have been kids but that is a poor excuse.
    http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/f...e-1655567.html

    3. BBC report that a pub was destroyed - I understand that Polish fans could have started but that NI fans were also involved.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/n...nd/7969871.stm

    4. NI fans were involved and were rioting elsewhere when they clashed with Polish fans and the police.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7970131.stm

    5. At the game itself NI fans booed the Polish national anthem.

    6. NI fans booed Boruc and sung songs at him from first touch to the last - nothing wrong with that per se but again it underpinned the nasty undertone.

    7. Coin thrown at the lineman from the NI section.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/foot...ls/7970206.stm

    8. NI sing the "famine song" - possibly one of the most ignorant and disgusting songs ever chanted on football terraces. I dont speak Polish so would welcome any input from those that do.

    9. Commentators were complicite and biased - glossed over any chanting, the coin been thrown "I am sure the NI fans will sort it out themselves" and seemed to excuse the booing of Boruc and explain is as him being controvertial.

    10. Homes occupied Polish residents were then attack in "racially motivated" incidents.

If flying a flag causes people to riot and wreck the place maybe the people doing the rioting and wrecking need to try a bit of introspection as to why they can't behave in a civilized manner.

I just listened to the RTÉ news on the radio taking their line directly from the PSNI and blaming the Polish fans. Then on came Gregory to twist things further by stating that there was a flag unfurled that represented the group that killed the two soldiers and policemen. Now that's just b*lls1t of the highest order. Oh and they just added a one liner that the attacks in the Village area may have been racially motivated. Heaven forbid that RTÉ would look at the BBC television coverage clearly showing 'our wee country' fans attacking Polish fans and then the police.

eirigi's statement here seems to disassociate the organisation pretty clearly from the killings of the soldiers and policeman.

    SAOIRSE32

Were eirigi supporters involved in attacking Polish fans?

I am confused by this - any clarification possible.

There was also about 20 times more Poles at the match in Dublin as I think only 1,000 got tickets for the hell hole that is Windsor Park.

You're gone very quiet Keith-M, your usual modus operandi when you're beaten in an argument.
