    Can't see your link, but there have been 1916 parades in Derry for decades. I take it, this is the first Council backed one. BTW, several Derry Republicans are being charged in the local British controlled Court for marching at last years Easter Commemoration. Those taking part in last years parade claimed they were videotaped by both Provisionals AND Crown Forces. They were later arrested and charged.
    I'm curious as to why Derry Council would wish to back "rejectionist micro groups" of 1916, who supported violence and had no mandate from the people.

    I am pleased to note from the link provided by the the first post that the Citizens Army flag is to be carried alongside the tricolour.
    The all party approach is encouraging to say the least.
