    Ir- The root of the troubles was the creation of the unionist state byeland's History

    No; If Southern Ireland had remained in the union there would have been none of this.
    The Island would not have been partitioned and the Northern part destabilised.
    As things have transpired over the last 90 years it would appear that our break from the UK have done us a fat lot of good.

    I'd not mention "the Northern Question" in pubs at all, unless you're looking

    I do not frequent pubs as I don't find the punters conivival, they appear absorbed by football, greyhounds' that kind of thing, not my forthe I'm afraid.
    My idea of a nice time is-
    A nice meal, good wine and convival icompany whereby one can have a informed discussion on various issues.
    I may be a tad forthright at times, none of this PC nonsense.
