    Well Done Sinn Fein

In one of the most unequivocal statements of support for the police to date, SF have urged communities across the NI to stand up against so-called dissident groups and report their activities to the PSNI.

Dissident republicans are extorting as much as £90,000 from individual drug dealers as a fee to trade on their patch, Sinn Fein claims.

Splinter paramilitary groups in Northern Ireland are also involved in trafficking illegal substances from abroad into nationalist areas, according to senior figures within the mainstream republican movement.

Gerry Adams said he would go to the PSNI and give information if it meant bringing these Dissident republicans/Criminals to court.

The INLA has evolved into a purely criminal gang heavily involved in robberies and extortion of business owners and drug dealers.

    • The Continuity IRA is also operating major intimidation and extortion rackets.

    • The Real IRA, or Oglaigh na hEireann, is carrying out punishment attacks on behalf of individuals involved in personal or domestic disputes.

They said they were aware of one suspected drug dealer who been forced to pay out £90,000 to dissidents for protection. The republicans involved apparently also ferried 120 kgs of drugs into Belfast from Spain.

Credit to Gerry and SF !!

Yet not one dissident is arrested or charged with these offences.
Meanwhile 3 people allegedly linked to PIRA are in court for extortion in London as we speak.
The richest racketeer in Ireland, according to media is a friend of Gerry Adams who lives in South Armagh and who supports the GFA.
Another supporter of the GFA is wanted in America for a multi-million racket involving forged dollars from North Korea.
At the press conference today, the Provisionals said "we are trying TO CREATE a context in which co-operation (with Crown Forces) improves and increases in the period ahead." Key words there "to create". They admitted their agenda with that one sentence. Criminalise Republicans so local people will lend their support to the British State Forces.
All Republican groups mentioned are virulently anti drugs. They have uncovered several drug factories and destroyed them. They have publically named and shamed drug dealers all over Ireland. They are NOT taxing drug dealers. Drug dealers despise Republican groups and vice-versa. That drug dealers are now running to the protection of the Provos is telling.
Ceasing their assets or fining them is not a tax, nor a racket. If so the State are guilty also.
PSF are now doing Britains work and are trying to criminalise Republican groups. If all these allegations are true, why don't they take their evidence to the 32CSM, IRSP or RSF and name the individuals involved in criminality.
All Republican groups should publicly challenge PSF to a debate on these allegations, where they will be asked to put up or shut up.

Directly proportional to the point of the thread itself, Abaddon. I'd of thought that was obvious.

Fair play Mr Adams, with seventy per cent of the people of West Belfast supporting you and a growing party many good years ahead.

How does it feel to be in agreement with Belfast Citizen.?
Gerry Fitt peddled the same propaganda in the 70s. You have the cheek to call the SDLP "stoops". You people couldn't stoop any further.
Adams shared a rally with several hundred "dissidents" in Derry yesterday. If the allegations are true, why did he do that?
This is a serious escalation of criminalisation and the next stage will be to deny the current Republican prisoners are not political prisoners. Talk about poacher turned gamekeeper. I'm fukkin furious with Adams to be honest.
It's patently clear he is dancing to MI5's tune.
