Education Minister Catriona Ruane has accused the DUP of blocking discussion on her plans to replace the 11-plus.
After an Executive meeting on Thursday afternoon, she said she would not bring forward any new proposals.

Ruane has no alternative vision. She never had one. She has half-baked, ill-informed rhetoric about equality. But parents, teachers, head teachers and school boards all see through her vapid and arrogant utterances on this issue.
She staked what tiny reputation she had on this and has miserably failed. Time to resign.
