    SF aren't representing their constituents

    Figures shown in todays Irish News show SF aren't representing their constituents at Stormont committees.

    Francie Molloy 6.5% attendance record

    Alex Maskey 18.8%

    Daithi McKay 27.5%

    Paul Maskey 32.1%

    Caral Ni Chuilin 47.8%

    Raymond McCartney 41.2%


    Interesting excuses given by some of them !!

    Presumably that's higher than the amount of representation they provide in Westminster ;-)

    Starts on the fallacy that their constituents wants them to be there.

    Many may not, in actual fact they may by attending be over representing their constituents interests.

    sure what point is there in the glorified council except to turn up vote and collect the wages - the policies are decided in Connolly House and Dundela Avenue

    Ironic that Francie Molloy has the lowest attendance, considering he said this in 1999;
    "Republicans are prepared to work an Executive. We are really prepared to administer British Rule for the foreseeable future. The very principle of partition has been accepted, and if Unionists had that in the 1920s, they would've been laughing." I thought he was really keen back then.

    Sorry don't have their names to hand ( buy a paper lol )


    But the top 3-5 were all DUP Members with 100% attendance record.
