Does anyone know who's running in next year's European elections in the Northern Ireland constituency? I assume SF will stick with DeBrun, but what about the others?

After the DUP (widely acknowledged as being the reason devolution had stalled) finally conceding today I think they might come 5th or 6th in a Euro-election.
A P.ie moderator stated this on June 25th 2010: P.ie tolerates very broad free speech, and thus allows sectarian bigotry etc
There's that Jim Allister nutjob for TUV I guess.
With the DUP getting over twice the UUP's vote in 2007 I wonder if they'r considering putting two up & trying to balance the vote.
The Shinners might consider it too I guess - the Unionist & Nationalist votes are getting fairly close. .

Poni welwch chi'r deri'n ymdaraw?
It'll be De Brun, Alban Maginnes (sp?), Allister, Ford, Nicholson and whoever the DUP decide upon. Might be Irish Robinson?

Be interesting to see the DUP put up Mrs. Robinson. I'd imagine the parties represented when it's all over will be the same as last time - before Allister founded TUV.
Can't see anybody else in the UUP going for it. McCrea wants the leadership and not be parked in Brussels. Hermon is already MP. McNarry and McFarland might go for it if Jimbo decides to call it a day.
DUP need an attack-dog in this campaign. And dear Iris is a bit of liability in around Stormont. There's been the nonsense in the paper, the lack-luster performance on the Health Committee and being thrown out of the Assembly for a day over a stupid spat that wasn't worth it. But, she might not want to be away from dear Peter for so long.

alban was a bad choice for the sdlp, their vote is going to collapse throughout the next 2 elections.
