This is a country that can actually pillage half the world and teach its citizens that it was something to be proud of because they used to whip the natives and force them to build railway tracks to their coasts so they could ship out all their natural resources.

    Amazing.
Are those Irish people such as joel, Cael, Norfolk Enchants, muscailte and yourself, who somehow managed to avoid being brainwashed by the English, in some way more culturally sophisticated than the rest of the Irish nation?

Wouldn't Ireland be a great place altogether if it consisted solely of Republican cranks, obsessives and dimwits.

You forgot to mention Muhammed Ali, who's one of your old favourites.

Oh, and don't forget to mention yourself.

You're a great one for original, abstract thought. A veritable beacon of hope for the rest of humanity.
