Fundamental British change almost a reality.

There has always been speculation about the willingness of British Governments during the early 1970's to consider a fundamental change to the status of the 6 counties, this was of course ten years before Thatcher declared Norn Iron as British as Finchley. This has been usually dismissed as propaganda, it seems that Harold Wilson actually made preparations for it.

    That was 1974.
Before they revised their strategy, started taking out uncompromising leaders like Maire Drumm, Mc Stiofan etc and replacing them with people they could do business with.
They then started concentrating on Normalisation, Ulsterisation, and Criminalisation a strategy so successful they even succeeded in getting the PRM to adopt it.
The British intent has changed since 1974 Pat. I'm sure you've changed politically since 1974 as well.

By 1974 no one took Wilson seriously. He was convinced all parts of the Establishment were out to get him by destroying his reputation and falsely in his opinion suggesting his loyalties lay with Moscow.
He was paranoid about this but fortunately retired to enjoy some years of retirement well away from politics and was soon forgotten.
