Northern Ireland is not a nation.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 342771.stm

Plans for a Four Nations tournament involving Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Republic of Ireland have been put back because of fixture congestion.

Northern nationalists are part of the Irish nation and always have been, unionists are part of the British nation.
    This is how it is.
Northern Ireland is not even a country, northern irish nationality does not exist and there is no northern Ireland passport.

Why not make it 6 nations, Lower England, North Scotland, Ireland, West Wales and south England?

    Your point?

The GFA states quoite clearly that the Irish nation consists of anyone in Ireland who desires to be part of it.
The area coverage of the UK is irrlevent to this.

There is no northern Ireland nation, Theres Irish and British, just as there are passports.
No unionist or anyone in Britain or its administration has the right to tell the Irish in Ireland who they are, the Irish arnt too fond of being ordered around unlike British unionism which craves getting degrading orders from London.

I'm Irish, as my passport states as the GFA ratified and the EU enforces.
Unionsim and Britain has lost their right to enforce any other nationality on me.
Tough sh1t, theres no northern Irish nation and thats 100% fact.

I hate soccer, but now theyre trying to dictate which part of these Island are considered nations against the agreements of the majority of the people on these islands.
    Complete arrogance!

Of course its not a nation. It is part of the Irish nation and part of the British state. That is clear from the Agreement.

    it is for the people of the island of Ireland alone, by agreement between the two parts respectively and without external impediment, to exercise their right of self-determination on the basis of consent, freely and concurrently given, North and South, to bring about a united Ireland, if that is their wish, accepting that this right must be achieved and exercised with and subject to the agreement and consent of a majority of the people of Northern Ireland;

If it is a matter for the people of Ireland alone then it can only be because the people of Ireland constitute a nation entitled to determine its future by agreement.

Many (most?) northern nationalists support the Republic. That's why attendances are so poor at internationals at Windsor Park and why the atmosphere can be quite intimidating for those of The Other Persuasion.

Then why can these people just randomly seperate the Irish nation which goes against this agreement?

That norn iron soccer team does not represent me or my nation.

Go tell the Irish Football Association that they shouldn't exist. Telling politics.ie posters is a bit like a news item going "Bears defecating in woods, film at eleven"

What's your point got to do with what he's saying? You're being illogical - read his post again.

By all accounts, the Scottish football authorities organised this competition, and we all know who runs that outfit. Pathetic little englanders who have long since forgotten how to stand up straight having spent so much time on their knees licking the arses of the English establishment. Offending Irish people is part of their everyday routine. Perhaps it makes them feel good about themselves. In any event, if and when this competition starts, don't support it.
