PSNI - eager to investigate loyalist mobs?

A woman from North Belfast has got her house attacked at about 1.30 AM. She called the PSNI and they came around. They started asking her name and DOB as usual I suppose.

Then they asked her if she (and she is 3 months pregnant) had ever attacked protestant homes. the lady said she felt like she had been the guilty party. Hours later when the priest came around he saw the hammer used in the attack still there, the surgical gloves used still lying in the road with paint on them. They were only recovered when the priest contacted a senior inspector.

So much for proper investigation into attacks on Catholics.

Can't speak as a member of PSF but I was talking to a member of the local cumman here about, what I, (and indeed many others) would deem as a quite serious incident. I asked was anything going to be done about it and was told, 'sure we are working with the cops now, and nobody wants to rock the boat'!! Honest to god I never thought it possible that PSF would have sunk so low as to be afraid to challenge the RUC as they didn't want to 'rock the boat'.

PSF have backed themselves into a corner over policing and now cannot extradite themselves from it. The will have to try and perpetuate the lie that the RUC is reformed and that they waited until the right time unlike the stoops!!!

I think that although I agree in principle with supporting policing in general (because regardless of the situation in the North we still need a police force), to use that as an excuse to not demand proper reform on major policing issues such as this is horrendous! Something of this nature needs to be addressed and if that means "rocking the boat" then so be it. Surely its a form of support to want the force to be better and rid of this kind of nonsense?
Arm of Erin, prove strong, but be gentle as brave, and, uplifted to strike, still be ready to save; Not one feeling of vengeance presume to defile the cause or the men of the Emerald Isle.

This was all predicted - SF made the jump but forgot in doing so that it was a nose they would not get out of. They will slowly dance on the end of this rope unless someone cuts them down.
