    Shirt-maker announces job losses

    From the BBC: Up to 70 jobs are to go at a County Londonderry shirt-makers because of falling orders.

    Bad news indeed. Hopefully the increasing economic activity which appears to be picking up speed in the North may provide the solution for many of those made redundant.

    Muppet! I copied it from the BBC site. This has feck all to do with political semantics! The fact is that 70 families are about to lose a source of income!

    Why stupid? The article was on the British Broadcasting Corporation website. In Britain they refer to County Londonderry, that is a fact. Why should I edit their post? I refer to it as Co Derry myself so cannot see your problem. As I said, it is no time for political semantics when people are losing their livelihood.

    I'm not disputing that the British call Derry, Londonderry, I was merely pointing out that someone who uses Pearse's quote and the tri-colour as his avatar does not edit out London from his post and you had a sh*t-fit over it. Of course its no time to be arguing about place-names when people are losing their jobs
