A "Stoop" not a shinner, supporting Marian Price

Think we can ditch the derogatory term I used for the SDLP. It was Patsy Mc Glone who was in the media calling the SOS to account.

Indeed, the normally OWC obsessed Wendy Austin was more aggrieved at the detention and circumstances of detention with regard to Marian Price that any shinner I have heard of late (if at all).

Add this to Marty's condemnations of some of his former comrades and the topic of the royal jubilee, there's poor measurement of the republican base afoot here.

Whatever the shinners are at, it's the wrong direction

There's something wrong when a stoop calls for her to be released. ?

The woman is in ill health and being Interned just because of her belief's.

Just because they don't like what Marion has to say doesn't mean she should be put back to the 70's.

She's not been interned - been listening to the dinosaur again ?

"This is a form of internment," said Monsignor Murray, who was prison chaplain in Armagh for almost 20 years.
"I am just shocked that the secretary of state wouldn't be aware of how seriously nationalist people look on internment.
"We thought it had all ended and here it is coming under a form of revocation, revoking a license.
"We hold that no power, not even the British Parliament, has the right to deprive us of our heritage of British citizenship".

That penny dropped for me about 15 years ago.
Both Marion and her sister,Dolores were delived death threats by 2 prominent members of Sinn Fein in 98.
Told to cease their criticism of SF leadership or face execution. These threats were never lifted.
SF members are busily painting over graffiti connected to Marion's plight in areas all over the North.
I once saw a senior SF figure in Derry tear down a poster calling for another Republican woman's release. I saw the rage in his face.

Exactly. What's more, the SDLP may have seen it.

I'd love to see the SDLP take the chance and kick the feet form under the "Stoop Nouveau". Save for the mental leadership of our Maggy, the SDLP have never ....erm......stooped as low as the shinners have of late. What they are forgetting is that they have more to lose than their former volunteers, many of whom sacrificed their latter youth for Adams' BS, as these guys know way too many truths about King Gerry, Marty, Kelly et al. Why should betrayed volunteers hold to a oath already betrayed?

    C'mon SDLP, take your chance

There's more talk about tea parties with Lizzie than a fellow comrade interned.

I know that Gerry Kelly did it in the S Down area (I can be more precise about this) around the same time. I saw it, until very recently, as strength and direction.

It was clearly no such thing

Only a few months ago the SF Mayor of Letterkenny stated in a radio interview that; "there are no political prisoners in Ireland".
SF talk from both sides of the mouth at the same time. They are not to be trusted and are certainly not "fellow comrades".
Time the grassroots SF members woke up and sell the coffee.
